Whatever the season, we’ve plenty of room for afternoon tea in the heart of Leicester — cosy tables inside, or a peaceful spot in our parlour upstairs.

THE OLD TEAROOMS

As it has for the last 300 years, the old tearooms is open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, cake and afternoon tea.

Plenty of space for small events, Christmas parties, hen parties, baby showers.

We also offer a separate private catering service.

Dates are filling up fast for this year so get your queries in for parties, weddings, product launches, networking gigs etc

DELIVERY

For special orders, please call the tearooms with your debit card in hand.

We can’t offer a specific time for delivery, I’m afraid, but we can for collection.

Collections are between 10am and 1pm please, with parking available outside Leicester Cathedral. If you’re running late, give us a call.

What are your opening hours?

We’re open Monday to Thursday 10am–4pm, Friday 9:30am–4pm, Saturday 9am–4:30pm and Sunday 10:30am–3:30pm.

Do you offer delivery or collection?

Yes — call ahead with your card details for delivery, or collect between 10am and 1pm; parking is available outside Leicester Cathedral.

Can you cater for private events, parties or corporate catering?

Yes — we cater weddings, birthday buffets, canapés and corporate events. Get in touch via our Events & Private Catering page to discuss your requirements.

Where are you located, and is there parking nearby?

We’re at 17 Loseby Lane in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, just off the Lanes and a short walk from Leicester Cathedral and Highcross. On-street parking is available nearby, including outside Leicester Cathedral.
